Before You Call, Check Here
These are the questions our front desk fields on repeat, split into what people want to know before booking and what only comes up once a session is actually on the calendar.
Before You Book
Q1Is a number generated on a bench actually reliable?
A fair thing to wonder. Our outdoor zero-check rounds exist specifically so the bench doesn't quietly drift away from reality — and in practice, client carry numbers usually land within a few yards of what they've already clocked on a real course.
Q2What do I need to bring with me?
Your current clubs for the category you're testing, the golf shoes you'd normally wear on a round, and a loose idea of your typical scores. Nothing needs to be precise.
Q3Do you fit left-handed players?
Every category on our brand bench stocks left-handed options, and both capture instruments read a swing the same regardless of which way you stand.
Q4My current clubs seem fine — why would I still book?
A lot of our appointments aren't shopping trips at all. Some clients just want proof their current bag is actually dialed in, or a quick lie-angle check with zero intention of buying anything new. Both are common, valid reasons to come in.
Q5Do you stay open through the coldest stretch of winter?
Yes, and it's actually one of our steadier seasons. The room holds at 68°F no matter what it's doing outside — that's really the whole reason the studio exists in this climate.
Q6Where do most clients travel from?
We sit right off Broadway downtown. Beyond Green Bay proper, we see a steady stream of bookings from Appleton, De Pere, and Oshkosh — all a reasonable drive for a fitting appointment.
Once You're Scheduled
Q7How much of my day should I set aside?
A single-club appointment usually wraps inside an hour. Full iron sets run closer to ninety minutes, and a top-to-bottom bag session can take two to three hours depending on how much we're covering.
Q8Am I obligated to purchase clubs afterward?
No obligation whatsoever — you keep your printed spec card either way. If you do come back to order later, whatever you already paid for the session is credited against the total.
Q9How long does a build take once I order?
About a week in most cases. Parts stay stocked in-house, so we're rarely waiting on a shipment before assembly can start.
Q10What if a new club doesn't feel right after pickup?
Come back within three weeks and we'll adjust lie, loft, or length at no charge while your swing settles into the new spec.
Q11Can you check a club I already own without a full fitting?
Absolutely — either as a quick standalone check or bundled into a bigger session, depending on what you're trying to learn.
